One Day Itinerary

If you are a business person who has a short time just one day available for sight seeing during the trip in Beijing after your conference, Catherine can design a special itinerary to cover the most important sights and bring you to get a sense of city Beijing as well as trying to help you understand how people live here.

Pick-up at the airport is available upon request. Pick-up at your hotel and return to the hotel at night are included.

Suggested Itinerary: 

Great Wall at Mutianyu-Tian’anmen Square-Forbidden City

Morning:Pick up at your hotel (8:00am to 8:30am)


-1,5 to 2 hours drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall, a famous and ideal section of the Great Wall if you look for a half-day tour to the Great Wall with moderate hiking. Take the cable car or chair lift up the wall and allow yourself spending 1 to 2 hours hiking up and down from one section to another if you wish to see several watch towers and parts of walls. You can take the exhilarating toboggan ride back down the wall.

Forbidden City
Dine in a local restraurant with most typical dish of rainbow trout barbacue together with an assortment of other Chinese dishes both veg and meat.

Afternoon

Perking Duck

- After lunch, drive to the Forbidden City-the largest Imperial Palace in the world. Allow yourself at least 2 hours to wander around in this most amazing imperial architecture.

-Carry on sourthward to pass the Tian’anmen Rostrum guarded by the enormous portrait of Mao avove. Then wander around the Tian’anmen Square, allowing for a 30-min stroll around the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square and take some picture.

-Enjoy the Perking Duck Dinner at the Dadong Roast Duck Restaurant famous for the less greasy duck meat.
